Independence. As an independent partnership, wholly owned by Partners, with a flat, widely-held ownership structure, it’s in our very DNA. We also pride ourselves on being a meritocracy: today, we have more than 200 Partners and a clear route from graduate to Partner, which is supported by ongoing training and our Leadership Development Programme. We’re very much a democracy too. We value opinions and you’ll be able to have your say on how you think the firm should be run. Just one example of which is our Foresight Group, a collective of graduates and junior colleagues from all over the business. Meeting regularly, the group conducts research in key areas and make recommendations directly to senior management. Everyone gets the opportunity to be heard, which goes a long way to creating our work utopia: an innovative, fair and people-friendly environment.

Because the big construction questions of our time won’t answer themselves, we’re fanatical about, well, thinking big - and the bigger, the better. That’s why we have open plan offices, enabling you to share ideas - big and small, good and not so good - with your colleagues.
