Times Top 100

We’re by no means obsessed with awards here at Davis Langdon, but it’s certainly nice to be recognised. Especially when it’s the ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For’. Having jumped 52 places from 81st to 29th on the list in 2007, we’ve now scaled another 10 places up to 19th for 2008 - and we’re the only project and cost consultancy firm in the top 50. To make the list, companies must be judged by their harshest critics: their own people. Judges were impressed by our “happy, motivated workforce”, with 81% of respondents believing that they can make a valuable contribution to the success of the firm.

The survey highlighted that 81% said their teams are fun to work with. Our people also gave the firm an 82% positive score for benefiting their personal growth, a ranking bettered by just 11 other companies on the list. We were also given an 81% positive score for being run on sound moral principles with 85% saying they felt pride in working for Davis Langdon.

Rob Smith, Senior Partner, comments “To be acknowledged, once again, as one of the ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ and, indeed, to move even further up the list, is a truly fantastic achievement. It is testament to the great people we have working for us, without whom our continuing success wouldn’t be possible”.
