When I was looking at opportunities after University I decided that site-based work wasn’t for me, so I started looking at consultancies - and Davis Langdon was the name that kept coming up.
I felt that Davis Langdon was a more welcoming organisation and I wasn’t wrong, as within two days of completing the online application form I was contacted by HR to say that they had received it and that it was being processed. Later when I was invited to the selection centre I was really impressed by the size and scale of the building and the organisation itself.
From day one the training and development is excellent - on the job training allows you to manage real issues on real projects, whilst the Graduate Development Programme helps both your personal and technical development.
I work within the Hotels and Resorts cluster, and the projects I work on vary from small boutique hotels right through to huge overseas resorts. And no two projects are the same. As part of social committee for my cluster it reassures me that Davis Langdon take the social side quite seriously. They assign quite a generous budget to the committee for us to spend on activities. Whether it is project work or the social side of Davis Langdon there’s just loads going on.
