Online Ability Tests
At this stage you will be sent links to complete some online psychometric tests – there are three elements to this (verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning and perceptual reasoning). All three tests will take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. We will then review your scores and if successful you will proceed to the telephone interview stage.
Preparing for the tests
Here are a few hints and tips to help you achieve the best result you can in the tests:
- Visit your careers service as they may have some sample tests for you to try and find out if there are any areas you can improve in.
- Make sure you are completing the test in a quiet room with no distractions.
- Complete the test yourself as we periodically ask applicants to complete the tests again at a later stage in the selection.
- Don't panic if you are unsure about one answer - move onto the next one. We are looking at the overall scores across the three tests.
